Pictures at the Los Angeles Temple

I haven't posted any more pictures lately because I have been working like a busy bee in order to get into all of the necessary classes for next quarter/ get good grades this quarter. I still would like to learn more about my camera so I can take better pictures. I find that I get lazy and switch it to Automatic mode.

I know that there is so much I can do with the equipment, but it won't work unless I know what I'm doing!

It was such a beautiful Day!

Today, Nadia, Lisa and I went to a restaurant for breakfast called The Potholder. They make delicious omelets and gigantic pancakes. The place was so popular that we had to wait for 40 minutes just to be seated.

Quick visit to the parents!

Nadia and I had the opportunity to visit my parents this weekend. I went on a walk with my Dad Saturday morning and then went working out with him and the exchange student girls. There was one point when I nearly threw up, but fortunately I overcame those feelings :-).

After all of that, we came back to my parents house and had breakfast... World famous Lawrence Stehmeieromelets. The picture here on the left was taken with my new Canon T2i with an 18-55mm lens. I am a complete novice to picture taking, so this was done on the automatic setting. My hopes are to improve my photo taking to the point where I can have a hobby that pays! I'll keep posting my photos as time goes on and as I learn more.

Anyway... it was great to see my parents. We had a great time with them and I wish we could have stayed longer. Here are some more pictures I took with my new camera:

Life got crazier!

Ok... I know I said that life is was crazy, but now... now it just seems INSANE! So, yes, it has almost been a year since I last posted anything on this blog site. I expect that I will start posting more as there are more things to post about.

First of All, Nadia is pregnant! We're having a boy on May 10th--ish. We have a name picked out, but as a wise professor of mine counseled, we are not going to tell anyone until after the baby is born.

This picture was taken while my family was in the Caman Islands. We went on a week long cruise that my parents took us on as a Christmas gift. What can I say, they are awesome!

I'm looking forward to this coming year. Lots of things are going to happen. I swear... I'll keep you posted :-)

Life is crazy!

Well, the semester is coming to an end and I can't wait for the opera to be over with! Right now Nadia and I are in the opera, Gianni Schicchi (I'm Rinuccio and she's Nella). Because things have been so busy, we've had to eat out a lot. I have discovered that we are spending more than we make and it is stressing me out! I hate having to take from our savings, but I'm glad that we have savings to take from.

Nadia and I need to make a budget. Does anyone have any suggestions? I know that we are making unnecessary purchases and it will be easy to save once we cut out that spending. I guess this is something that each couple has to go through in order to learn how to deal with their money.

I am loving being married! It is so hard sometimes, but I have never felt more rewarded in my life. I've never felt more happiness then these times with my wife.

I had my 24th Birthday this month and It is pretty surreal. I can't believe how fast time is whipping by. Anyway, I had a great birthday. Nadia took me to a great Italian restaurant and I felt like a king!

OK

Well, I am not that good at blogging... I just can't seem to convince myself to keep this thing up to date. I've already been married for over six months and there seems to be too much to write about.
